๐Ÿ’ก Amazon shows ~80 chars on mobile. Lead with your most important keywords.

๐Ÿ’ก Use A+ Content instead if your brand is registered โ€” it replaces this and converts much better.

๐Ÿ’ก No commas needed. No duplicates. Each word counts once across your whole listing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about character limits and how the tool works.

Amazon product titles allow up to 200 characters for most categories, though some categories have lower limits. However, only the first 80 characters are visible on mobile search results, so lead with your most important keywords within those first 80 characters.
Amazon bullet points allow up to 500 characters each, and you can have up to 5 bullet points per listing. Some categories have a lower limit of 255 characters per bullet. Lead each bullet with an ALL CAPS feature name for maximum visual impact.
Amazon product descriptions allow up to 2,000 characters. If your brand is enrolled in Brand Registry, A+ Content replaces your text description and allows significantly more content through image-led modules.
Amazon backend search terms allow up to 250 bytes. For standard English text, this is approximately 250 characters. Separate keywords with spaces (not commas), avoid repeating words already in your title or bullets, and never include competitor brand names.
Amazon's A10 algorithm indexes keywords from your title, bullet points, description and backend search terms. Keywords in your title carry the most weight. The algorithm also factors in conversion rate, click-through rate and sales velocity when determining rankings.
